Tales of pirates have been commonly spread though the kingdom as of late. More and more of the Queen's armada have been lost to the naval prowess of the Raiders Divine; an army of scoundrels said to rule a ship as large as a country and sail as quick as the wind itself. Just a month ago a noble engaged to the prince was lost when her ship was set upon by the rapscallions. Grief stricken, the prince placed a sizable bounty on any persons or information regarding the Raiders Divine and their movements. Not to mention the countless ships looking to hire armed guards for perilous journeys across the sea. And being equally adventurous as you are opportunistic, it seems the perfect lead to take of your quest for glory.

You join a crew of hopefuls on the "Mariner's Mound" which sets sail within the hour. Many are like you, hoping to prove themselves, earn glory, reward, but there is a sterner side of the sailors whose opinion on the expedition seems a taste sourer. You pay them no mind and toss your belongings onto the hammock you'll call home for the foreseeable weeks, months, or however long it takes.
