Your spell hits the spider dead on, and it goes flying. The sudden change in direction really hits it hard, and the spider lands on its back, completely dazed. It tries to move onto its front, but its legs just wave in the air helplessly. You breathe a sigh of relief. That was close.
You cut the spiderwebs off your foot with a carefully placed Diffindo (can you imagine performing that spell in the heat of the moment? You'd cut your foot off for sure!), shake them off, and continue through the exit and into the next part of the maze.
