The Secret Triwizard Challenge
You yell, "Confundo!" and aim at the spider's head.
It's a direct hit, and the spider just... continues to stand there. It turns it's hairy body left and right, presumably wondering what the heck is happening. It returns to the corner of the maze, ready to make more of its web. You mentally fist pump and begin to run across the clearing.
The spider, however, is very big, and while it's easy to cast the Confundus Charm on a human, it's much harder to do so on something so much larger. You can tell it's slowly regaining its senses by the way it's shaking its head, as if trying to clear it. Its beady red eyes watch you with a curiosity that is starting to look more like malice every second.
You're 3/4 of the way through the clearing when the spider regains enough of its composure to know it wants to eat you. It starts running towards you. What do you do?
