You don't go into hiding.
You address the citizens head-on and beg for your life.
You promise to do better and improve.
The Poor felt sympathetic for you but would only let you live if you sign a contract.
The contract states that you will not raise taxes on the poor ever again.
The contract, however, can cause conflict in the community.
