Killing Gandhi

You know that some time soon, somebody will get the idea that Gandhi needs to be taken out of the equation for the country to remain separate. You make sure that you know where Gandhi is at all times, and that you or someone is there protecting him from everything around him. You go on to be his shadow looking out for him in everything, he begins to notice you always being around. He confronts you one day, where you tell him that you are protecting him from someone that might be after him. He tells you that if someone were to attack him let them attack. You don't understand, but at the same time you know that he knows something is going to happen in some strange way. You start to wonder if you should actually stop protecting him because he clearly knows something is going to happen.
