Welcome to the Phantom Thieves

When you walk in, your teacher is setting up class while none of the students are there yet. She notices you and you hear her mutter quietly, “Two transfer students in one year, I’ve already got way too much to deal with”. As she walks towards you she reaches her hand out for you to shake, once you finish shaking her hand she says, “Hi, I’m supposed to be your home room teacher for the year, my name is Sadyao Kawakami, please call me Ms. Kawakami though. This is a bit a of a surprise considering the fact that you never really went to the orientation”.

You tell her that your parents were too busy with having to adjust with the new setting they still are putting their stuff in the house.

“Ok, that seems fair,” Kawakami says, “just saying, our class recently got a transfer student before and he has a criminal record against him so people are going to compare him to you. So don’t mind any of the rumors that are spread for you, they’re mainly just because of him”.

You nod your head to show her that you understand.

She says to you in a tone that shows that she doesn’t want to do this again, “When the class starts, I’ll ask you to go to the front of the classroom and talk about yourself. If you don’t have anything to say, just lie. Just make it sound like you’ve had a great time in Japan. It’ll make you seem less like the other transfer student that came in a couple of days ago.” she sighs. “Well that’s all I have to say to you, you have a minute before class starts, your seat is next to the back entrance to the class.
