Time traveling through nuclear history

You wake up in some kind of field, about a mile away from some kind of large city. Looking around the scenery, you recognize the large city a part of Greece, the ancient cities that you read about during your school days. The inside of your time machine is all busted up, and Scout, your helpful robot assistant, is glitching. An error message pops up on his LCD screen. "Some features have been deactivated due to a malfunction."
