Hansel And Gretel: The Right Way
Hansel thinks he can memorize his way home, he doesn't need a trail to help him. Well, let's go through this quick then. Kids are left to make a fire as the parents go to work getting wood (but really are going to abandon Hansel and Gretel). Night comes and Hansel tries to recall the way home and instead gets him and his sister lost. Hansel trips and the stones fall out of his pocket. He lands headfirst on the stones and dies quickly, Gretel cries loudly which attracts a bear that mauls her.
Moral of the story is to plan ahead. Confidence in your abilities could be your downfall.
