Reaching the room was least of my problems. Entering inside was a bigger mess.
I pushed the door open with the best of my forces, slamming once or twice on the grey door with my shoulder to get someone to notice me from inside the room. When they opened the doors, however, I realized just how bad of an idea it was to push with my side. I could feel bruises forming.
I was staring at a circle of stormtroopers looking down at a few smashed plates and a broken bottle, a currently knocked out woman in the corner with blood dripping down her forehead and two-three medics checking her pulse and Rose and my father fighting.
Rose's nose was bloody and her mouth was busted, blood staining her snow white suit. She was apparently back from a mission and the kitchen had run out of her best liquor, so she resorted to what she knew best.
I stared at my maddened father next, eyes bloodied with anger as he scolded the younger girl for acting recklessly. My hand reached for him and I rested it against his forearm, staring at Rose who palmed her cigarette pack inside her pocket.
"No one is guilty for losing your scotch, Raller." My father gritted his teeth, watching Rose freeze in her steps. I furrowed my brows, looking from Rose to Armitage. What did that mean?
She didn't wait to be told anything more before she pushed through the large men in the kitchen, hands shakily lighting an expensive cigarette. My father confirmed with the medics that the kitchen woman was alright, before looking down at me.
"Who told you about Kandosii?" His eyes peered into mine, making me feel smaller than a mouse. My head turned low and I stared at my feet, blinking rapidly.
