The Mansion

"Okay, fine. I'll follow you. Just let me get my lighter, okay?"

Gavin nods and waits as Rachael steps back towards the car and rummages around in her bag for her lighter and a pair of scissors. She slips the scissors and the lighter into the pocket on her black trenchcoat and returns to Gavin's side at the gate.

"You ready?"

Rachael nods and inspects the gate. It is wrought iron, and Rachael has the feeling that it should belong at a haunted house attraction instead of being used as an actual gate. She and Gavin are standing in front of the main gate. As Rachael inspects closer, she notices about 10 or 20 feet to her right the bars of the gate are bent, leaving a hole wide enough for her to fit through.

"Look at that," she says, pointing at the hole. Gavin looks at it and shrugs.

"I think we should stay here, if we go through that way we might get in trouble for tresspassing," states Gavin.

"Oh, come on, where's your sense of adventure, Gav?"

"I-I dunno...I have a bad feeling about it...."
