The Church
As you briskly walk through Allen's Alley, you hear a few faint, distant chuckles coming from the other side.
One of them you recognize, but two of them you don't.
It's Taylor....
You've known Taylor vaguely for a few months, as he often beats you in pool games at the Youth Center, makes bets for slicers or loonies that you cannot possibly win, and is much better at guitar playing. Still he has your respect, as you admire his confidence and brutal honesty.
The strangers accompanying him look like his type of crowd, strange clothes, chains and leather boots, appearing through a thick plume of cigarette smoke with cocky grins.
Today marks a heavy change. You can feel it!
