Find your perfect lure

Walleye do not stay in the shallows for very long but during the spawning period and a few weeks after they can be found in 1-12 feet of water. During early to mid spring walleyes can be caught at this depth. This time of year it is best to target the mouths of creeks that enter and exit lakes. Also keep an eye out for early weed growth as this will be a hub for fish activity. Here are two presentations great for this time of year.
