You're nervous about your peers looking at you when you shamble in in a hurry, a few minutes late, possibly even while your professor is lecturing. You just want to walk in quietly, on time, and sit in your seat with your little coffee thermos and your textbook, ready to listen to the professor. You realize that you have forgotten your textbook and your notebook while you were hurrying out the door. You spend the entire class period upset and unable to focus. The professor assigns a five page paper due next class period which you stress about for the rest of the day.
After all of your classes, you make your way home. The day has exhausted you. In each of your classes you were thinking about the homework you have to do for them, listening to the lecture, participating in a discussion, and then adding the new assignments to your already overwhelming schedule. It is about 3 pm now and your stomach is yelling at you for some lunch. You still feel physically exhausted from your long, early shifts over the weekend and mentally exhausted from, well, everything. Though you have been unwillingly entertaining the many thoughts of every assignment you need to work on tonight all day long, you sit relentlessly pouring over all of it again as well as the chores around your apartment that have been ignored for a few days too long.
Before you can do anything you have to eat.
