Chalk Girl
You decide to try and stop spinning. You put your arms and legs out almost as if you were gliding and this miraculously allows you to stop spinning. You are freefalling and nerve hits. What will happen, will I be okay? You think to yourself. You decide to try and fall feet first as you think this will be the best way to avoid injury. Soon you see dust in the air. You start coughing, as you fall than suddenly you hit the ground. You are caught so off guard that as you hit the ground you slip and bump your head. Than you blank out. You open your eyes and smell something strong and overpowering. But what is that smell? Then it hits you, you remember as a child drawing on the sidewalk with… chalk. You allow yourself to sit up, ignoring the piercing pain in your right ankle. You take a few moments to realize where you are. You appear to be laying in some random sidewalk and everything around you is made of chalk! You screech loudly as you see that you too are now made of chalk. You get up and start walking. Not knowing where you are going. The pain in your ankle is unbearable and you need to talk to someone, you are desperate at this point . After walking for a while, you find a small little shop shaded a light color of pink chalk. You step in, the small bell ringing above your head, leaving clouds of chalk. You look around and see all different things made up of, course, chalk.
“Chalk art, chalk food, chalk everything!” Exclaims the store owner.
You rush up to him, glad that you made it. You start talking but he interrupts you.
“How would you like some chalk.” He asks holding up a packet of chalk. Startled you drop the dusty packet
“Ummmmm no thanks”, you manage to get out of your quivering lips. Nervous and afraid you don’t know what to do. Do you stay in this odd place or leave?
