Killing Xanathar

As you enter the next room, you see another pedestal in the middle of the room. Suspicious of what’s going on, you check around the pedestal just in case there was any traps, and yet there none. When you look to see what’s on the pedestal, there is a red crystal on it, covered dust and yet still glowing brightly. You think to yourself about what you’re going to do with the crystal.
