Killing Xanathar

You decide that thinking of an answer to the riddle would take too long so you draw your sword and charge at the skeleton. It seems to be shocked that you are rushing it blade drawn and not trying to answer its riddle so it doesn't have time to draw its sword. You swiftly cut off the skeleton's head, it doesn't die but it seems very annoyed at you. You grab the key from the oddly placed spaghetti in his rib cage. You wonder why the spaghetti was there in first place.
