You find out that John Waterhouse is in fact trafficking weapons. By gaining access to his financial documents, you see that he has been paying police officers and government agents so that they don't reveal his secrets or arrest him.
You have finished your mission. You download all the incriminating information you need onto a USB drive before erasing all trails of your hacking from the server. You walk out of the Waterhouse building feeling successful, but just as you're about to call your superiors to tell them you have the evidence, you hesitate and think some more.
