Living in the Wizarding World (Harry Potter fanfic but it’s cool and interactive)
"Hey," You say, opening the door a little, "Mind if we sit?"
The skinny girl looks up, the smile on her lips seems kind, but her eyes tell a different story. They're cold and you kinda feel like shes nonverbally telling you to 'piss off'.
You exchange a look with James, who also looks apprehensive to enter.
Before either of you have the chance to back out, the older girl smiles warmly at you, "Sure, there's tons of room!"
You both actually go into the compartment and set your bags above your heads.
James sits down next to the nice looking girl, forcing you to sit next to the meaner looking one.
The older girl introduces herself, "I'm Candice, and this is my sister, May."
May looks up, glaring at her sister.
"She's a first year, what about you guys?"
You and James both say that you're first years too, and Candice smiles.
"Are you guys excited?"
James nods, "My mom and dad told me a bit about Hogwarts, not everything, but from what they said it's amazing!"
Candice nods, "It's pretty awesome. I'm a fourth year, so I've already been here a while, and I'm still finding new stuff about the school."
You all continue to talk for a little bit, and once you arrive, Candice tells you both one more thing.
She kind of puls you aside, away from May, "Look you guys, you can talk to me about anything, you both seem like super good kids, so I can be your upperclassman friend if you want. I'm a Hufflepuff just so you know." She smiles one last time and begins to walk away.
She turns around though, "And just to let you know, my sister can be a real bitch, don't feel obligated to hang out with her or anything, but y'know, be nice okay?"
And just like that, she disappears into the crowd of students.
You and James make your way towards a huge man beckoning first year students towards him. He leads you and your fellow classmates to a lake, and tells you all to get into the boats set up.
"Four of 'yeh per boat please! Watch 'yer step though, they tend to rock!"
James follows you towards the boats, there aren't many empty ones left, you go to...
