The Cabin
You take a deep breath and hold on tighter as the beast throws itself off the side of the cliff. Your stomach goes through your throat as it immediately dives and goes into a sharp turn. You yell as it goes into a spin, and it seemingly roars back at you as it starts to climb through the air. Unfortunately, the griffin is a more experienced flier than you are, and turns upside down as it reaches an extremely high spot in the sky. You grit your teeth as you slide off it’s back and are left hanging by it’s mane. As you both start losing altitude, the beast hits you in the face with one of its wings, and you groan as you are knocked from your grasp. You are freely falling, spinning through the air. Without a moment to think your last thoughts, you slam into the conveniently placed river below.
