Time Traveler

I am able to decipher the message with the added information to help. When I read it I am startled. PT-109! That was President Kennedy's boat. The story comes back to me now. Kennedy was then a young Lieutenant commanding a PT boat that was rammed and sunk in the Solomon Islands. In the history I know, a coastwatcher radioed in the incident and he was rescued. I now have the name of the island where he and his men are stranded. But should I tell this radioman? If I remember history right, the message was deciphered by the Australians in the Solomons, not here on Fiji by the Americans and Kennedy was rescued. I am leery about changing history. Besides, the island named in this message is not the same one I remember from reading about it, Kolombangara Island. But I must tell the radioman something.
