The Maze

You walk past both of the trails, but Elizabeta stops and picks up a handkerchief. “What’s with the handkerchief?” You ask.
“It’s Roderich’s. He never leaves anywhere without this; I’m worried for him,” Elizabeta responds. She shows you the handkerchief. The dirty cloth has a frayed embroidering of the name, "Roderich."
“Then let’s look quickly, besides, he might have already gone out.”
“He can’t even travel in a straight line without getting sidetracked, tired, or lost,” she decried.
“He can’t be that bad, right?”
“That’s what everybody says.”
You both continue strolling through the labyrinth and come across multiple paths, again, but you see the exit on your right. You quickly walk to the exit, excited to finally be out of this web of terror; Elizabeta stops you.
“I still need to look for Roderich, remember? Which pathway should we choose?”
Facing the exit, there are two trails close to you on the left and another on the right. Both of them don’t seem to be very appealing, but you have to choose anyway.
