The Weekend of a Competitive Dancer

You decide to tell a friend because you want their opinion.

They advise "You should definitely stop dancing It's not safe. You could injure yourself real badly and then never be able to dance again. It could ruin dance career. Tell a teacher."

However, you do not like your friend's advise. You were hoping that she would tell you that it is fine to keep dancing. At this point your thoughts are conflicting. You feel so hopeless, in the sense that you don't know what to do. On the right side of your brain (the creative side), it tells you to keep dancing because that is what you love, who cares about what your friend thinks. On the left side of your brain (the logical side), it tells you that it would be a stupid idea to dance, and that you do need to listen to your friend. Just all of these thoughts in your head are making you stressed out, so you need to make a decision before they stress and anxiety gets worse.
