Soulbound

After you put your things away you walk to your home room class. You sit down in your seat. You watch happy couples, that you paired up, and you find that the ache in your chest returns. Just then your teacher gets the classes attention and introduces the new student. She motions to the empty desk next to you, you hear her say to him,
“ you should consider yourself lucky that’s the class president and the schools matchmaker!”
