My Rich Neighbor
You both walk into your elective class. Apparently, he has astronomy too. You were always fascinated with the subject and when you saw on the course sheet that they has astronomy you were thrilled. Some girls in the back eye you or maybe it's more like a glare. Dominic sits somewhere in the middle and you sit in the desk next to him. The classes have laptops hooked up to all of the walls and the middle space are where the desks are located. You really want to make some friends so you turn around and talk to an Asian girl behind you.
"Hi, I'm Amber," you say with a smile. She smiles back and holds out her hand.
"I'm Kate," she says. The blonde girl to her left snaps at her and Kate turns in her direction.
"You missed the best part of the story," she huffs. Kate apologizes but then she turns around again, this time with a glare.
"Okay Julissa, you told that story three times already and it's still morning! No one cares about you and John anymore! It's old news, you are so full of yourself. You never give us any time to talk so just shut up will you," she fumes. Julissa freezes and with a glare she talks out her phone and stops talking. The other girls whisper to each other but Kate is already turned around looking at you again. "Sorry Amber, I can't stand them anymore," she says sorrowfully.
"Kate, what the heck," Dominic says laughing.
"Oops, so sorry," Kate says sarcastically. Dominic smiles at her.
