My Rich Neighbor
"I could care less about this school, tell me about yourself. I bet all the girls must love you," you say. He stops dead in his tracks and turns around to face you.
"As if, I hate everyone here. Everyone could care less about getting to know me," he scoffs. You look down at your feet.
"Sorry," you mumble. He faces you again.
"It's fine, it was a compliment after all right?" he says smirking. You smile.
"I mean look at you," you say trying to flirt again. He shakes his head.
"So where do you live, I swear I've seen you before," he asks leading down more hallways.
"Uh, I actually right across from you," you say. "I've seen you when I moved in."
"You should have told me," he says laughing.
"Looks like I just did," you say which makes him laugh and smile again. You genuinely like him as a person. He's cool, you decide. You both continue making small talk and hopefully you found your first friend.
