Meet the Krulls
Henry and his mother decided to run in and help whoever it was they were hearing. The opened the front door and were welcomed with a horrid stench of rotten food and body odor. As they covered their faces with their shirts they heard another scream and looked to where the noise came from. Their eyes shot to the upstairs portion of the house where it was pitch black. There were no lights on in the massive area so Henry turned on his phone’s flashlight and his mom followed suit. They made their way up the staircase and it creaked every step they took. Henry thought it was odd that it was so quiet other than they screams they heard . As they made their way to the top there were many rooms all with the doors nearly closed but still open just a bit. “Where do we start mom?”? Henry asked. His mother turned her head toward to the left which was the closest room, “lets start there” she whispered. They started to the left slowly and walked over to the first room as Henry looked in but couldn’t see much so he lifted his hand and put it on the center of the door and pushed. He slowly pushed it open and started to see remains of a room that looked like it was over 100 years old. An old wire frame bed with a night stand next to it and a glass pan on top that might have been to wash someone’s hands and face in the morning. As he opened the door more and started to take a step inside when suddenly the door slammed in his face with a great force. And just then they heard the scream from inside the room followed by the sound of glass shattering. Henry and his mother screamed and ran as fast as they could back down the stairs to get back outside. Henry tripped on something as he was going down and fell to the bottom, as his mother came up on him she grabbed his arm to help him up and nearly dragged her son out of that house. “We have go to get out of here Henry come on”! As they came out of the front door and down the sidewalk they heard the scream once again. Henry’s mom looked over at him and exclaimed “i’ve had about enough of this yes day, i’m not supposed to say no early but let’s go home, i’m not cut out for days like this”. Henry and his mom got into the car and drove off with a sick feeling in their guts, not sure at all of what they had just experienced but whoever that scream belonged to did not want them there and they were just fine with that.
