One Way Out
You ran towards him, closing and locking the door behind you, and untied the ropes holding him to the chair. You grabbed a bottle of water and poured it down his face, trying to soothe the burns. You grabbed a first aid kit that apparently was required by every classroom to have. There wasn't any ointments for burns so you decided to just give him painkillers.
He took them and started drinking the water you gave him. "Thanks," he said, sounding much better. "John thinks I'm dead, he won't go looking for me, that idiot."
"He has a gun now," you pointed out.
"John won't use it," he got up and you instinctively backed away.
"I won't hurt you, I only teamed up with John because it would be safe. It's not safe. You say a single wrong thing and he's after your neck," he said and opened the door and left. You followed him. He filled up the bottle with water and got back into the room.
"Wanna work together to take down John?" he said and stuck out his hand.
