Over and Over

As you walk into the mysterious room, a flock of unicorns flies out and impales you to the point where you are bleeding but not yet dead so you continue. You find your way to a series of spiraling staircase that is missing a couple of stairs and instead of stairs has openings that would ultimately lead you to your death. Continuing down the stair case, it leads you back to the spot where you started. You immediately fall to the ground look up and utter,"Of course i went the wrong way...now i have to start all over and all of that was for nothing." This time, you think that it might be smarter to go through the opening in the floor but you are still not completely sure.
