Halloween Horror Nights Comes True
You are in your bedroom when your phone lights up. You look at it and there is an e-mail confirmation for the ticket you just bought to go to Horror Fest, a Halloween event hosted every year at a theme park in your city. You and your three friends planned to meet up there at 7 PM.
It is 6:15 and you are going downstairs to leave when your mom stops you.
"Amanda, I don't think you should go tonight. You just recently had the accident and --- well, I just don't think you are ready," her hands flash by in quick succession as she signs her concern. "I don't think it is the best idea for a... deaf person to go to a halloween festival, " my mom finishes.
