Just Another Day
After going down the flight of stairs to get to the first level of the school, you enter the gym and find a P.E. class playing dodge ball there. You can see your jacket on the far side of the gym where you chucked it during an intense game. You make your way along the white painted brick and start crossing behind one of the teams. When you’re about half way across, someone from the other team throws a ball from the halfway line. You don’t see it coming until a few seconds before it crashes into your side. Your feet are whipped from under you and you plunge to the ground to create a giant face plant.
You glance up to see that the game has stopped and everyone was staring at you. You’ve never been this embarrassed in your life. You want revenge on whoever threw the ball but you don’t know if you’re up to a full game of dodge ball. Should you throw the ball back and join the game or grab your jacket and race to the bathroom to escape everyone?
