Just Another Day
When you finally reach the place where you remember your water bottle last, it’s empty. It was kicked over by someone in the hallway while switching classes and all the water spilled on the floor which created a puddle.. Reluctantly, you sulk to the bathroom and grab handfuls of paper towels to clean it up.
While dabbing away, you realize that Ms. Soole was watching you from the window of her door. She peers through and looks down at you soaking up water with a paper towel in the middle of the hallway. You look away hoping to avoid eye contact and when you glance back up again, she’s gone. With a shudder you hastily clean up the rest of the water and grab all the damp towels and your water bottle and head to the nearest trash can.
After throwing away the towels, you see a water fountain farther down the hall. You’ve already wasted so much time cleaning up the water but you’re quite thirsty after all the work you did. Should you fill up your bottle or just head back to class?
