One Way Out
You watch as Deklan gets stabbed over and over again, your feet glued to the ground. You watch his blood pool around him, staining the new carpet. Blood covered Ethan's hands and his shirt was almost stained red. He stopped. Ethan looked up from Deklan's now dead body and stood up. He licked his blood-stained steak knife. You needed to go or else you'd end up like Deklan, but you couldn't move.
Ethan looked you in the eye with a purely evil look that you've never seen before. It was crazed and you felt a chill go down your spine. From the corner of your eye you saw Emma Aaron summon a scythe. You heard the gasps of the students still here. More ran out the room.
You were gonna die. Right here and now. You try to move, but couldn't. Ethan took a step towards you and you heard the sound of a wet thud. Your eyes registered Emma driving her giant scythe into Ethan's back. With a grunt, she drew it back out and you were jolted out of your stance. You ran out the room, past John, and tried to calm down.
You heard John say to Emma "I won't kill you if you won't kill me."
