It never ends

You are awoken by bright sunshine and the sound of birds chirping. A shower of pine needles falls off your clothes as you sit up. You're at the foot of a giant pine tree. Its massive branches provide a sort of makeshift shelter.

You're not sure how you got here.

You crawl out from underneath the tree and stand up. You're in a forest of pine trees, but it looks like the one you slept under was much larger than the rest. Most of the trees are barely more than twice your height, while you can't even see the top of your tree. Sunlight beams down on you, warm but not hot. Strangely, you can also see the moon and the stars in the sky. The sky is a much darker blue than you're used to. It's hard to tell what time it is.
