Alex fell to the ground under the gunfire, his suit breached in hundreds of different places. His sight started to black out, and the sounds of battle started to fade.
"Bernice..." he said weakly, crawling back to where she was.
"Oh my god!" She grabbed him and pulled him over to her, then ripped off his suit's helmet. "Oh god, oh god..." Her voice was fading.
"Get out of here..." Alex whispered. Then, his vision went black and he stopped breathing.
