"Yeah yeah, I'll open the door, just wait a few moments" Nag says, groggy and annoyed. She gets up from bed and wraps a blanket around herself. She walks to the door and opens it. Just outside the door is a guard, clutching a scroll with one hand and the handle of his sheathed sword with another. He unfurles the scroll and begins to read from it out loud.
"According to the investigation, an Orc was seen entering a room in the inn with Fiona Mayview. Fiona's corpse was found in the room come morning, along with a set of men's clothing, signifying that the Orc was a man."
The guard closes the scroll, and looks to Nag.
"You are the only male Orc in this village, and so you are the main suspect in this crime. What say you in your defense?"
Nag doesn't know whether the guard is an idiot, or if he's just trying to insult her. Maybe both. Female and male Orcs may look similar, but surely, he knows that she is a woman?
