The End of it All

You think hard about a door you're comfortable with. You decide on the sliding glass door to your patio across town. As you visualize it, you think about the view from the patio into your apartment. It would be a tidy, sparsely decorated living room, with a large, tan couch and a green ceiling fan all visible in dim light. It comes into focus without much wavering thanks to your almost edidic memory. Though, a thought does occur to you, "What if mostly clear isn't enough to go where I desire." Worry hits you at your core and you turn uncertainly to your lab assistants. They are taking notes avidly on the other side of the glass partition in the lab. You catch the eye of your favorite intern, a beautiful brunette girl, and she smiles excitedly.
You wink at her, and turn back to your door reassured...
