A shadowy figure

The walk continues, and as you are about halfway there, you can hear faint footsteps in the distance. You don't see anyone around, but continue to hear the noises. You are fed up with all of the creepy noises out tonight. All that you are concerned with is reaching the intersection that your friend is at. You break into a run to get away from the noises, and soon get near enough to see a car parked by the side of the intersection.
