New Frontier

You unstrap yourself from the seat and push off towards the back of the cockpit. The heavy, metal doors slide open easily when you pass your keycard infront of the scanner. The room that you go into is a mess of floating objects, which makes you realize that you forgot to turn on the artificial gravity. Your head snaps to the left, towards a sudden screeching sound coming from behind a door. Almost immediately the regular white lights turn off and the red, emergency lights turn on, tinting everything a deep crimson.
