Old Man's War

You send a precisely aimed sniper shot directly at the lone Consu's head . Immediately upon the contact, a red light flashes from it's shoulder and yellow field is seen radiating from the Consu, causing all the bullets to drop to the ground. The highly advanced species had some sort of shield-producing device on its body. The now enraged Consu begins catapulting towards your group, decapitating one member and stabbing the other straight through the abdomen. You stand alone against the raging Consu messenger, with nothing but your gun and mere seconds to make a decision.
