In The Day
You notice that there is a vegetarian option for monster tots listed on the menu. How have you not noticed that before? You decide that you'll give this a shot. I mean, it's not that much of a change compared to what you usually get, there's just no meat.
You tell the waitress your order. As they leave to go and place your orders in the kitchen, you turn your head to see your friend staring at you with disbelief.
"What?" you ask as you take a sip of your drink.
"I never thought I'd see the day where you wouldn't order meat."
"There's a first time for everything," you shrug your shoulders.
"Baby steps are better than nothing," your friend says, "I guess meat production hurts the environment, so it's probably a good thing we didn't get meat."
Hm, you thought to yourself, you didn't know what meat had to do with the environment but you weren't sure that you wanted to find out.
