Chance for a Dance | Just a Kiss GxB Paranormal Romance
Compared to a demon with an animus, a few human dudes in ski masks is really not that scary. The men stared, wide-eyed at the giant serpent.
Add another demon, well then...
Another pair of headlights swerved into the parking lot and a tall man sharply dressed in all black stepped out. He took one look at the men between him and Mercurius and a deep scowl crossed his face.
"I should have known. If you want something done right," he said, "You have to do it yourself."
With that, a bright light exploded from his hands, and a serpent twice the size of Mercurius's sprung onto the pavement. In one swift motion, it struck at Mercerius's animus, fangs biting into the side of its head as it struggled to thrash free.
"So nice to see you, too, father," Mercurius sneered as two fang marks appeared on his neck--the transference from his animus. One hand still weilding his serpent, he struck out at the man--"You should have known better to send humans to do a demon's work."
