When I was by myself again, I glanced around to see where Mercurius had gone off to. He wasn't anywhere that I could see. It was a nice restaurant, complete with arched windows and glowing lanterns above each table alcove. It was getting late, and I was nearly the only person left in the restaurant.
By this point, I was finished eating and starting to get a little uneasy. I wasn't sure exactly what, but something didn't feel right.
