The Haunted House

You go down the hallway, weaving between the furniture. There is another door at the end. You open it and are blinded by light for a moment. When your eyes adjust, you find yourself on a small platform. There is an obstacle course spanning across a yawning canyon. It is a huge spider's web of metal and rubber, with a trampoline 15 below your platform, a set of monkey bars, and a line of five huge rubber balls that remind you of Wipeout, except, if you wipe out, you would fall into the canyon- which you can't see the bottom of. Past the balls, there's a rock wall that leads to the other side. You all look at each other in horror. Dani goes first. She jumps onto the trampoline and is shot up to the monkey bar platform. She starts swinging across. Chelsey is shaking as she runs and jumps. She overshoots and falls. You don't hear her screams after she enters the fog. You go next. You make it to the monkey platform. Dani has made it to the line of balls. Brianna makes it as well. You get across and stand beside Dani. She hasn't moved.
"I don't think I can do it," she mutters.
