Signs of the Infected

You slowly make your way up the stairs. You can hear footsteps at the top of the stairs. The door is still shut. When you reach the top of the stairs you open the door as quietly as possible. You step onto the landing, but you are grabbed around the neck.
"You thought you could escape! No one escapes!"
In one swift motion he hits you over the head. And everything goes black.
There is no escape.
