The Get Away

i started to say something but Gracie put her hand over my mouth. “shhh.” Gracie said quickly. “Be quiet and hide.” Gracie told me. I ran into the darkness and saw just as I was hidden the police was at Gracie. They were asking her questions left and right but all she did was shake her head. I was scared i thought in my head but in reality i wasn't scared at all just like this had happened before. My heart was pounding then the police walked past to go back to their car. I thought one of them saw me but he just stepped in gum.
