Homicide and Havoc on Halloween

You wince as you get up from the bed. The floor is so cold, it sends a shock up your spine. As you move towards the door, you look around for any weapons just in case. All you can see in the barren room is a bedside stand with some gaws, scissors, and a needle with yarn. “ I do not want to stick around for that,” You scream in my mind. Once you reach the door you see a long narrow hallway with doors lining the sides of them. There is one light coming on from the end of the hallway in a room and then rest of the room are filled with darkness. You open the door to the first room as quietly as you can. You can only make out the silhouette of a hospital bed in the darkness. You move one after another of the rooms, noticing they are all hospital beds. “It must be an abandoned hospital,” You think in your head. You try to be stealthy and quiet as you peek into each room. You finally reach the room with a light on. As you peer into the door, you instantly notice the lump in the hospital bed. You creep slowly along the edge of the room. The room contains much more hospital utensils than the other rooms. “Could it be Scarlett or Octavia?” You wonder and your hope begins to rise. You tiptoe to the edge of the bed. It is Octavia! You could barely recognize her with all of the bloody gashes upon her face. There was a bag with some type of clear medicine hanging over her bed. She was in a deep sleep as her breathing was steady and quiet. There was a small tube that ran from the bag all the way to Octavia’s wrist. You gasped with shock. “What were they doing to her, and who was the they..” you questioned. Off in the distance you could hear the clank of someone’s shoes moving around. You dart out of the room, and star running back to your room as fast as you can without making a peep. Once you make it back to your room, you jump into the bed to act as if you had never woken up. The footsteps get louder and louder until they come to a halt. But, not in your room. You get up and silently creep to the door. Someone is in Octavia’s room. “Allright. Get up now girl.” A raspy elderly man’s voice boomed from her room. “What? Where is my sister? Where am I?” Octavia questioned. “Shut up, I am taking you to the operation room. You are needed to help me with a project of mine.” The voice grumbled. “What does that mean?” She cried out. “I need you to help revive my sister. I just know it will work this time. Your other friend was waste. Her heart was not the right type to bring her back. I know your heart will just be perfect. Fingers crossed!” He snickered to himself. “No! Let me go!” Octavia whined out in protest. “Oh no! What had happened to Scarlett? I have to save my sister,” you decide to yourself. But in the back of your mind you are questioning if defending and trying to take your sister’s place will do any good. After all, he has not come in your room yet. Maybe you could escape, but if you did you would leave your sister to die. Do you go and sacrifice yourself or lay low and leave her to die?
