Are you in?

You run to the window and look out at the fire escape. A man in a trench coat is already waiting at the bottom of the ladder. He looks up at you, almost as if he was anticipating this escape. You quickly duck, hoping he didn't see you. You wait a few moments before taking another peek. He is gone. You climb down the escape and make it safely down to the street. You look around, the street is empty. You start to think maybe you're just paranoid. A car appears out of nowhere screeches to a halt beside you, door swings open: "HEY MAN, chance of a lifetime, ARE YOU IN?"
