The apartment of choices
The next day when you get home from work the lobby is completely empty, but you don't think much of it. You got to leave work early today, and so you rushed home to chill. You take the elevator up to your room, and you notice the door is propped open. You must have forgot to close it this morning, you think to your self. You walk inside, and are startled when you hear a loud noise in the bathroom. You grab one of the cooking pans off the counter and slowly walk towards the bathroom. As quiet as possible, you turn the corner and peek between the door and the wall of the bathroom. You can see your bathrobe slightly swaying, as if someone just hung it up on the hook. You take a step in and can see the back of a man's head. You raise the pan above your head and shout, " Who are you, and what are you doing here?! I'm going to call the cops if you don't leave now!" The man turns around and looks familiar. You realize it is Edgar. He quickly starts to explain how he was walking past your room when he heard screaming. He rushed in and was trying to figure out what it was and that's when you walked in. My first instinct was to hide not knowing how creepy that seemed. It didn't all add up. You start to wonder "How did he get into your room? Why was he in the bathroom? Why was he walking by your room in the first place? Why was he behind the door? Why couldn't he have just called 911 instead of barging into my room?"
