You awaken to a light glimmering against your face, you feel warm and tender. You are well rested and feel that today will bring something interesting.
You make your way on to Route 11 where you already are attacked by trainers that are far below your levels. You then are met face to face with Professors Author's assistance.
Assistant 1: "Hi Red, we just wanted to say this next portion of your journey isn't going to have any impact on your journey, so we have a proposition for you."
Assistant 2: "There's a Snorlax ahead that really shouldn't be there, we will give you this flute that will fix all your worries if you do one teensy favor."
Red looks skeptical of this but nods to listen.
Assistant 1: "All we ask is that you let our Drowzee do what it wants with you while we watch in the bushes, for..."
Assistant 2: "Research!"
Assistant 1: "Yeah, Research, that is it. We want to learn how pokemon and humans interact more in certain situations. What do you say?"
