The Quest 4 Bread

"2spooky4me" you say as you urinate in your leg coverings and depart from the cave as quickly as possible only to find yourself in the middle of the Rye Desert lost. You tread on for days in the yeast-like sands starving. Then you realize you still have the map that led you to the cave. Looking at it you can find your way home but see that you are also hungry you hallucinate the map as a flatbread but if you push on a little further you can eat your sandwich but the flatbread I mean map looks so tasty. What do you do?
